Our Founder Story
Junglo was born from my journey of healing my skin through Indian botanical ingredients after a period of intense stress. I put so much pressure on myself to succeed that my body eventually rebelled through breakouts, painful rashes & hair loss.
Growing up in India, my mother and grandmother taught me about nutrient-rich ingredients that helped to balance the oils in our skin. Re-introducing these botanicals in my daily self-care routine, I was able to restore balance to my skin and to myself.
Self-care became a form of resilience against the pressures that the new generation of melanin-rich women face every day. By encouraging you to slow down & nourish the calm within, I hope to help return your skin to its healthiest, most natural state.
Junglo is a love letter to my heritage, to coconut oil, to girls the colour of Earth, and to the women who taught me there is nothing more powerful than being comfortable in your own skin.
